1. Who we are

Lax Lab Digital ("Lax Lab," "we," "us") operates this website and member platform. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Questions can be sent to contact@laxlabdigital.com.

2. Information we collect

• Account information — name, email address, and phone number, handled by our authentication provider (Clerk) when you sign up or sign in.
• Athlete profile — information you provide about the athlete using the account (first/last name, birth year, zip code, current team) so training content and communication are relevant. If you are entering this on behalf of a minor, you confirm you are their parent or legal guardian.
• Payment information — subscription and purchase records are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; Stripe handles that in compliance with PCI-DSS.
• Usage data — drills completed, progress, streaks, and similar activity within the member dashboard, plus aggregate site analytics (Vercel Analytics) that do not identify you individually.
• Film Review submissions — a link you provide to game/practice clips (e.g. Hudl, YouTube, Google Drive), along with the athlete details and goals you submit for that review.
• Newsletter — your email address, if you sign up for updates, and where you signed up from.

3. How we use it

• To create and secure your account, and let you sign in.
• To process payments, manage your subscription, and provide support.
• To deliver the product — unlocking member content, tracking progress, and completing film reviews you've purchased.
• To send account, billing, and (if you opt in) newsletter emails.
• To detect abuse and keep the platform secure.
• To understand aggregate site usage and improve the product.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that power the platform, each acting under their own privacy and security commitments:

• Clerk — authentication and account management.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
• Supabase — database storage for account, progress, and order records.
• Vercel — hosting, file storage for training video, and site analytics.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Data retention

We keep account and order records for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations after that. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see Section 7.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences, along with privacy-conscious analytics that do not track you across other websites.

7. Your choices

You can update your account information at any time from the member dashboard, unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email, cancel your subscription from the billing page, or request that we delete your account and associated data by emailing contact@laxlabdigital.com. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or port your data.

8. Children's privacy

Lax Lab Digital accounts are created and held by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of an athlete. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information directly, contact us and we will remove it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and post material changes on this page.
